Study for Crumpled Spray Can

Charcoal on paper
(210 x 297) each
This series of drawings began after discovering a "new" drawing material for outdoor - charcoal. Graffiti is traditionally done with spray paint, allowing street artists to get things done quickly. However, spray cannot imply physical contact with the surface as a tool, which most likely limits its potential. On the contrary, despite its limited choice of colour, charcoal benefits from its inextricable bond with the surface.
